Question about temps after vaccines

Asher had vaccines yesterday.  I took his temp last night and it was 100, so I wasn't super worried because they told me it was normal to have a low grade fever afterwards.  But I just took it because he woke up soaked and flushed and its 101.5.  I'm waiting for a nuse to call me back, but I'm stressed....is this still normal do you think or is it on the high side?

    My pedi said that anything over 101.1 while using tylenol was cause for concern, so 101.5 doesnt sound too bad to me. but i'm no dr! Did the dr tell you to give tylenol? they had to tell me the dosage based on his weight

    hmmm. the dr will probably have you come in just to check things out. i hope your baby boy feels better soon! try not to stress too much mama!

    Madeline got her 4 month shots yesterday and hit a high of 102.9 last night.  When we talked to the nurse they said not to be concerned until she hit 105.  Good Luck, and I hope Asher feels better soon.

    That's what we were told.  I should say that is rectally, I think it might be different if you're taking it any other way.

    DS got up to 103.7 after his 4 month shots.  We then started to administer Tylenol.  It took two doses before returning to a more normal level - one that night (when we took his temp) and again that next morning.  I noticed that he had a much worse reaction to his 4 month shots than he did his 2 month shots.  I am not looking forward the the 6 month round in 2 weeks...  Good luck to you and Asher - hopefully they call back soon!
