Anyone have the Britax Boulevard CS?

We just bought this seat for DD over the weekend and I was playing around with it in our living room making sure I know how to adjust the straps, etc. I put DD in it to test the Click Safe, but it seems to get really tight on her (she will cry!) and it still doesn't click. 

Are you able to make it click and be snug??  The straps would be really digging in to her and I know that it is too much.

    I don't mess with it as its tough to do that with it rear facing. It does get too tight though so I think the feature is a waste.

    Thanks!  I just want to make sure I am doing it properly and not missing something.  I think you're right.

    That reminds me - when we brought DD home from the hospital, DH went to tighten the car seat straps and really yanked on the strap, totally not realizing there was a brand new baby in there and he should do it slowler/gentler lol.

    I just use my judgement on how snug to make it, I don't think I ever actually heard it click.

    I get it to click maybe 1/2 of the time.  It is awfully tight but ds seems just fine when it does actually click.
