Sit completely unassisted?

Say his/her first word?

Pull up to standing?

Start walking?

Start using a sippy cup?

Start using utensils?

Start eating finger foods?

And finally! - start potty training?

Sit completely unassisted?

DD - around 6 months, DS was around 5

Say his/her first word?

DD - around 8 months, DS around 9 months

Pull up to standing?

DD around 9 months, DS around 8 months

Start walking?

DD - right around 1, DS at 9.5 months (yeah that was a shock!)

Start using a sippy cup?

Both around 4 months

Start using utensils?

We gave them to hold around 9 months, actually 'used' them around 12 months.

Start eating finger foods?

6 months

And finally! - start potty training?
DD - around 18 months she was interested, but we didn't train until 2 - didn't want her to regress when DS arrived, etc.
DS - he's somewhat interested but I'm not pushing it. Diapers are easier IMO.

LOL that was my thought. I can remember by holidays that were happening around events...thank goodness for January babies LOL. Like I know DS started walking right after halloween, etc.

Sit completely unassisted? 6 months

Say his/her first word? 9 months

Pull up to standing? 9 months

Start walking? First Steps just before 13 months....full on walking 14 1/2 months

Start using a sippy cup? Began using it at 6 months but fully using it at 9-10 months

Start using utensils? 15 months

Start eating finger foods? 9 months

And finally! - start potty training? Aren't there quite yet.

Sit completely unassisted? um, 6.5 months?? You mean just sitting-- not getting into a sitting position unassisted, right? That would be 9.5 months.

Say his/her first word? Well, I am sure she said cat and ball many times for a good week back when she was about 10 months old but she doesn't anymore. She supposedly has said bird and she says ba ba (bottle) but really I guess she doesn't officially have any words yet : (

Pull up to standing? 10 months one week

Start walking? first unassisted steps at 12.5 months

Start using a sippy cup? um, not sure, 8 months?

Start using utensils? not yet

Start eating finger foods? 8-9 months

And finally! - start potty training? not even close, bud.

When did your LO. . .

Sit completely unassisted? I think when he was a little over 6 months (I got pics of him sitting dated end of Sept-but who know it could have been before that)

Say his/her first word? 17 months and I'm still waiting for it.

Pull up to standing? I'm awful and can't remember. maybe 10 months? Yeah I suck.

Start walking? This I remember! If you are talking full on walking with no holding on- then 14 months exactly.

Start using a sippy cup? 13 or 14 months when he finally got it.

Start using utensils? We are practicing now and seriously I don't expect him to be perfect at it til he's 2. I'm in no rush. He's a baby and will eat with utensils when he's ready.

Start eating finger foods? I forgot. 8 months he would do things like Puffs, but "real" food- like chicken or black beans maybe 10 months?

And finally! - start potty training? Not yet. Not even a blip on the radar yet. Maybe next summer when he's 2 +.

Jake was born 5 weeks early, so everything he's done so far is always a little late, I think.

Sit completely unassisted? 7 months

Say his/her first word? not yet, I think Dada is coming soon

Pull up to standing? 9 1/2 months

Start walking? he takes some steps holding on to the couch, toys, etc.

Start using a sippy cup? I think I gave one to him at 6 months. He still doesn't use one regularly.

Start using utensils? not yet

Start eating finger foods? 9 months

And finally! - start potty training? not yet

Pull up to standing? 10 months

Start walking? 14 months

Start using a sippy cup? 5-6 months

Start using utensils? Using? Around 10. Using effectively? Around 13

Start eating finger foods? 6 months (BLW)

start potty training? Still waiting on this, although we've been reading about potties and bigging up hers. I'm not sure I can manage the battle being this pregnant and then risk regression and having to start again, so we'll give it a go in earnest in a couple of months.

And finally! - start potty training? We started with K at about a year old but didn't push. She trained her self one week at about 2 yrs 4mos old.

OK, I think I remember some of these, LOL!

Say his/her first word? 21 months (first word other than mama and dada, those were a lot earlier)

Pull up to standing? 9 months (so as soon as she could crawl to get there!)

Start walking? just before 11 months

Start using a sippy cup? don't remember, maybe 9 months?

Start using utensils? don't remember, maybe 10 months?

Start eating finger foods? don't remember, maybe 9 months?

And finally! - start potty training? Sat on the potty for first time at 27 months (for fun), began potty training at 32.5 months

When did your LO. . . Sit completely unassisted? *6 months ish Say his/her first word? *15 months. She babbled mamama, dadada much earlier, but she said Up! When she wanted to be picked up at 15 months, so I count that as her first word. Pull up to standing? *9 months Start walking? *14 months Start using a sippy cup? *9 months Start using utensils? *umm, still haven't done that yet. Maybe I should start working on that ; ) Start eating finger foods? *9 months And finally! - start potty training?

Say his/her first word?13 months - Dada. Other words started around 14.5 months, but the big explosion was 15-16 months.

Pull up to standing? 9 months

Start walking? Few steps at 14 months, Fulling walking at 15.5 months

Start using a sippy cup? 6 months

Start using utensils? We were slow with this one. Didn't really start until 18 months.

Start eating finger foods? 7 months with puffs and cheerios

And finally! - start potty training? Nowhere near that yet.
