Spotting after u/s?

We had an ultrasound yesterday and it went really well! We saw and heard the heartbeat and are measuring correct at 6 weeks 1 day!

I have been spotting on and off since we got our BFP but this morning it was more and the color was a darker color with brown but a tinge of dark red ? not bright red. Does anyone know if having an u/s can cause irritation to the cervix? I would think anything going up there could potentially, but just curious if anyone has experienced this.

Everything was great yesterday and now I am right back worrying like every other day.

I didn't have any issues when I had u/s with my son - but I was always told that was a possibility. Call your doc - let them reassure you.

I had an u/s Friday and woke up to some spotting on Saturday. It's possible that the u/s did irritate your cervix. Did you talk about the spotting at your appointment?
