Team green - LO's heart rate

So of course I've read all the OWTs....

And a lower heartrate is supposed to be a boy. When using the doppler yesterday, MW suddenly asked, do you know the gender? So I knew that she had an idea from the heartrate. She showed me the doppler and it was around 140. I said to DH "140ish is supposed to mean boy". And MW smiled and said "that's what they say".

I've been thinking boy all along, so just one more "sign"....

I feel like I cheated on team green...LOL...

Do you believe the heartrate theory, which at least is more scientific than the others?

Our LO's heartrate has been high and it's been low. So I'm not sure what to think! I'm leaning more towards boy bc I charted and know we had sex right before I o'ed, which is more likely to produce a boy ('boy' sperm are faster swimmers, 'girl' sperm are stronger and live longer).

FWIW, Jacks hr started in the 150s and has settled the last few months in the 140s. I knew it was a boy. I had that feeling since about 9 weeks. I would have been really surprised if he ended up a she.

My very much "girl" baby always had a heart rate around 140. We found out her gender, but before we did, family was all calling her as a boy. Only in very early u/s exams was it in the 160s. You will soon know... excited to see you on PAL soon.

lol I love the "cheating on team green"

I'm curious to see what my LO's heart rate is on Thursday. It's been holding steady in the 150's since week 12. some OWT's I've seen say 100% boy and others move the girl average to 140 so it'll be fun to see.

Mine was really high in the beginning, like 180, then leveled off and is usually in the 160's.....supposedly that means girl, even my dr. joked about it.... but now I have been thinking boy. Hmmmm.....I guess we will all see soon.

I would love to hear what others who have had their babies say, especially team green to see if their guesses were right!!

The first few months my babies heart rate was in the 140s now it is usually in the 150s and I am having a girl. I had a feeling she was a girl before we knew. Everyone else guessed boy. I love doing the OWT just for fun.

My LO was in the 170's to start and so DH is convinced its a girl. I think its been above 140 every other time. My last appt it was in the 130's though. I would have guessed girl to start, but I had a dream Sunday night that its a boy. I can't decide what to guess....

My doc told me that our babe's heartrate of 158-160 meant girl, we're having a boy. OWT don't stay true for everyone. Wink

The drs told my mom that I was going to be a boy based on my heartrate. Clearly that didn't turn out to be true.

i'm team green, too! baby's heart rate has been around 140 this whole time, so, hmm, maybe we're having a boy? dd's heartrate was in the 160s the whole time (she was team green, too)

My LO has a heart rate in the 130s and 140s. I thought boy in the beginning but think possible girl now. I really have no clue and cannot wait to find out!
