Has AF showed yet??

I am 7 weeks post D&C and no sign of her...

In a case such as this would you call your Dr?

My doctor put me on BCP's so to force an AF. I started them 4 weeks past the D&C. This is the 2nd week of the pills and I'm not looking forward to next week's AF at all.

I would probably call the doctor after 8 or 9 weeks. They say it can take up to 8 weeks for a post m/c AF to show her face. Maybe wait one more week. (If your anything like me though, you will call this week b/c you are impatient...haha).

I m/c'ed late July. No AF yet. My doctor told me to wait 60 days and if she still hasn't show, then I should call her.

I m/c'ed in early July and was pretty early in the pregnancy. My first AF came about 5 weeks later. Sorry.

I hope she shows for you soon.

I too had an early m/c and I got AF 4 weeks later. It couldn't hurt to call and just see what the doctor has to say. Good luck!

I had D&C on July 29th and I beleive I got my first A/f This past thurs (Exactly 4 weeks). I am pretty sure it was an AF and not some insane bleeding like I originally thought! I had expected it to not come for another few weeks. Just hoping my cycle is actually back in sync and that it wasnt a trick.

Originally the Dr. Told me it would be 6-8 weeks post D&c before AF would come.. so It sounds like you are in the norm window..

After my first miscarriage (incomplete with f/u D&C), it took 5 weeks. My 2nd miscarriage (elective D&C) it took almost 11 weeks. I think they normally say 6-8 weeks, but that is just an average. As you can see, neither of mine fit in to those time frames.

*edit: I lost my first at 7 weeks. And had the D&C at 10 weeks with my second, because the u/s showed the baby died at 7 weeks again.

I m/c July 20 and AF showed up last week at a little over 5wks. I went the Cytotec route. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the timing of everything. My doctor said that it should show between 4&6 wks.

If it were me I would probably call. Good luck!

I'm sorry for your loss. My d&c was 7/23, and AF arrived 33 days later (not that I was counting). As the PPs demonstrate, the variance is wide. I was also given a 60-day window by my Dr. - she said to call if AF had not arrived by that point.

If your Dr. did not give you parameters, no harm in calling to keep them informed and seek options.

I m/c July 5th, AF finally came after 44 days.

The Dr. told me to call her if AF didn't show by 6 weeks, I was a little over 6 weeks and had placed the call to my DR. for an appointment...then it came.

Just me, but I would call.

My d&c was July 30 and AF just arrived last night. So, it took me about 4 1/2 weeks. My doctor said 4-8 weeks is normal so I would give it another week. But, it may ease your mind to go ahead and call now. It certainly can't hurt.
