Random funny (almost labour) story insomnia related longish

So last night it was like 80 degrees in my house I'm 39 weeks pregnant and couldn't sleep. So I go DH so that DH can sleep. I'm bumping and watching tv. It was thunderstorming, I go out the the garage where my freezer is and sneek into my pre-baked cookies (for after the baby is born) get some milk and pass out on the couch.

An hour later I wake up, walk into the kitchen get some milk (heartburn ick) and see a light on in the garage. The freezer lid is open. So I go outside and close it. Just thinking I forgot. At the end of my garage the door is open and I see a large shadow. I don't bother to close the big door because we leave it open often, I go back to lay down on the couch and nap.

I start hearing some noises, but just think that its the thunder storm. I get up an hour later to pee. And see the light on in the garage again. Ok WTF the crazy pregnant lady knows she closed the freezer this time - weird! So I go into the garage and close the lid thinking the wind from the storm must have blown it open. I look in the freezer and there are big claw marks and 3/4 of my freezer is empty!!!!

I ran upstairs and got DH up this was at like 5am (sorry DH). He closes the big garage doors and checks out the scene.

This morning DH and I clean up all the remnants of the groceries and frozen meals that I had stocked our freezer with and laughed (how can you not).

The scary part is that the bear was there when I went out in the garage the first time. Wish I would have seen it to kick start my labour a little LOL!!! At 39 weeks I'm ready to try anything Wink

Holy crap! So glad that nothing bad happened to you or your DH, but this is horrifyingly hilarious!

I brought the cookies in the house with me. But he ate my damn chocolate brownie explosion ice cream I bought the other day Angry

Yogi better watch his back, DH got his gun out (thank goodness we don't have any LO's yet). LOL, wish I would have gone into labour. Now I have something to do today, which is good cause I've been super bored!
