Looking for a good OB/GYN in the Chat area?

Hey ladies,

DH and I just moved to Chattanooga and I'm looking for a good practice in the area. Any suggestions?

Hey Red Robin. I see Dr. Micheal Smith at the University womens service in Chattanooga. Its located behind the Ronald Mcdonald house and across the street from Erlanger down town. He is wonderful. All the girls at my work go to him and he has delivered all the babys in our family. Wouldnt go to anyone else.

I think my OBGYN is great. I've been seeing him for 3 years now and he just delivered my first baby in February. His name is Dr. Chris Innes. He's with Obstetrics & Gynecology of Hixson. Great doctor.

Depends on what you are looking for or what you consider to be a good OB/GYN. I see a midwife at Memorial, Donna Vandevander. If you are going to be having a baby, I would consider what hospital they will deliver at. I had a homebirth, but all the women in my breastfeeding support group say the best hospital to deliver at is Parkridge or Woman's East.

I go to the ob/gyn Center for Excellence by Parkridge Hospital I love it there. I see Dr. Harnsberger but there are two other doctors in the practice. If and when you get pregnant you have an ultrasound everytime at no extra charge. It is very reassuring. Their website is:https://www.obgyncentreofexcellence.com/

I would recommned Dr.Patricia McClelland at Galen OBGYN. She is awesome. Really any Dr. with Galen they are the best.

I have had a hard time carrying pregnancies. I have miscarried 8 times and had one stillborn. When I started seeing Dr. Maria Bowers with Chattanooga Women's Specialists, things changed. I successfully carried a little girl and am now having another. She is very sweet and very caring. My mother in law is an ob nurse and recommended her years ago and she has been the only doctor to get me through a pregnancy. If you don't have a doctor yet, she is awesome. She has a chattanooga office and a Fort Oglethorpe, Ga office. The number is 706-861-5950. Good luck.
