So, my almost SIL who is due 3 days after I was supposed to be and who has been amazing the entire time so far, has now managed to add a BabyGaga something or other to her FB.  I feel like someone stuck a knife in my gut seeing "only 8 weeks to go!" and "feeling fewer kicks and jabs!"  Thank goodness for the hide application feature!

    Of course there would be another reason to avoid FB... because seeing status updates isn't enough.

    It isn't that I don't enjoy her journey.  It is that it was supposed to be *our* journey.  She does post the occasional thing on FB and I'm fine with that.  The babygaga thing stung a lot, more than I anticipated actually.  I didn't even hide her, just the babygaga application.

    I'm sorry.  I struggle with this too - I'm thrilled for my pregnant friends and want to share in their job - but it's hard when I'm so darn sad.

    It seems like out of nowhere everyone I know is pregnant and my whole FB is people congratulating them, or bump pictures. I hide a few of them (especially the ones who were due when I was). Plus one of my dear friends was pregnant and due a few months before me but it was "our journey" too. I know how you feel.
