Hello!  I'm from the Dallas area, too.  We're actually north of Dallas in the Frisco/McKinney area.  I've enjoyed reading your posts and insight on foster care related topics.  My husband and I are still just talking about whether or not (and how) we want to proceed with adding to our family.  I had an emergency hysterectomy after delivering my daughter so bio kids are out.  We built a house to hold several kids, so at the very least, I think I'd like to foster someday.  We have the perfect setup here with two empty bedrooms. 

I was curious the steps you took to entering the foster arena.  Who you went through, what the timeline was, etc.  Feel free to PM this info if you'd rather.
