Hi my name is Maureen and my LO will be 3 months this coming weekend so I am posting a bit early.

Lately over the past week at night and during naps, if her paci falls out, she freaks and cries. She puts her fingers in her mouth and sucks on them but most of the time she puts too many in and gags. So I heard of these pacimals or wubanubs. Does anyone have them still at this age? Are they good? Would you recommend? especially for the issue that I am having? Thanks a bunch!

Re: Pacimal/Wubanub? Worth it?
We were given one and honestly I think it is more hassel than what it's worth. The object is still bulky so DD actually would pull it out more because she was fiddling with the toy, and then if I went to carry her downstairs and she would want to look up it pulled out because the duck it wedged between her and me.
DD prefers the soothie just as it is and was able to figure out how to pick it up and get it back near her mouth by 4ish months. We are still popping it back in here and there at night (she is now almost 6m) so I would say if you are going to spend money on something, get the soothie clip and pass on the weird toy attached to them.
My LO had a wubbanub monkey pacifier since he was 1 week old and it was a total life saver since it didn't fall out of his mouth quite as often and he could also hold on to it. We could never leave the house without it.
Once he turned 2 months he just spat it out and never took paci again, but my friend's baby is 5 month old and he had his wubbanub since he was 2 months and he is still very much attached to it, now he chews on it when teething.
So I'd say with confidence that wubba nub is worth the $11 it costs
She likes the Pacimal more (and so doesn't her LO) since it's less bulky, and you can buy an adapter to use different pacis on it/the paci can be removed (unlike the Wubbanub).
I plan on getting my LO a Pacimal as soon as I can.
Yup. DD loves her Pacimal and the stuffed animal that's attached is now her lovey - she sometimes just cuddles with it and doesn't care about sucking on the pacifier. We're gonna invest another $20 in a backup just in case!
