I'm Carolee, and we lost our sweet baby boy just over 2 weeks ago. After 13 cycles (2 on Clomid), we were thrilled to be expecting our first child. My pregnancy was pretty uneventful, aside from having what the doctors called an "irritable uterus" and getting rear ended in a car accident at 32 weeks which caused contractions that had to be stopped with medication. At 37 weeks, I woke up and didn't feel any movement, so I went in to labor and delivery. I knew it was over when the nurse kept moving the doppler all over my belly, because we had always been able to hear his heartbeat really easily. The doctor confirmed with an ultrasound that our baby had died. I was induced, and after almost 48 hours of labor, our beautiful son, Eliott Alexander, was born. We still don't have any answers as to why his heart stopped. This has been a surreal and devastating experience. I am not sure when we are planning on TTC again, but I have my follow-up doctor's appointment this afternoon and hopefully will know more then. This is going to be a rough week, with the doctor's appointment today, and Eliott's due date coming up on Wednesday.
Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms.

First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.
JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.
