TTC After a Loss

NTTCALR - West Palm and Palm Beach recs?

Hi ladies;

DH took me to West Palm Beach, FL two years ago for my 30th and we looooved it there. We are going back on a mini vacay for my EDD next week, so I'm looking for some restaurant and "things to do" recommendations. We will not have a car, so we'll be dependent on taxis and our four feet! Last time we went, we hung out at City Place and the Clematis area (good times!) so we'll definitely be there again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks  :)

  • I just went in March for a scuba diving trip. I can't remember the name of the restaurants we ate at but I will look them up when I get home.  But do you scuba dive?

  • hmm, Im not sure where in West Palm you will be, but if you are staying close to any of these:

    - If you like Animals - McCarthys Wild life sanctuary
    - Norton's Museum of Art
    - Norton Sculpture Garden (I think it's called Ann Norton)

    It's still really hot, so you can also go to Rapids if you like water parks.

  • Thanks guys!

    Lorlei - we don't scuba, but we are going to take a course next year. Unfortunetely - we're stuck with snorkelling for the time being.

    A&B - thanks! We're staying right near City Place. I'll look into those suggestions.

  • I was just there two weeks ago. We went to worth ave for some shopping but I was a bit dissapointed since it was all torn up. We had a good lunch at cheesecake factory. Went to Hollywood to the casinos. I'm not sure if they have a bus there since you won't have a car. The beach there is beautiful!
