Vacation with 1 year old..

Anyone been on a family vacation with a 1-2 yr old? We have 5 days, would like to drive instead of fly...we live in the philly subburbs. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated, TIA!

    We're in Philly and we took Kate to the beach for a week. It was awesome! We've also done New York and Boston and DC with her.

    Thank you for the suggestions...she hasn't been to new york or boston yet...those are good ideas!
