So far, the symptoms seem more extreme to me. I was throwing up 2 days after my BFP (with my son, m/s didn't start until about 7 weeks). Last time, my m/s was more nausea that eventually lead to throwing up, this time I feel fine one second and I'm gagging and dry heaving the next. Still, my m/s is mild compared to others, so I can't really complain.
With DD I was nauseated, but never vomited, during random parts of the day and really tired in the first tri. Same with this pregnancy. However, with DD my boobs were really sore and sensitive from the day of my bfp but I haven't noticed this at all this time around.
I was really sick with DD. I threw up 6-7 times a day but other than that I wasn't too bad until my blood pressure went up around 20 weeks.
This baby is trying to kill me. I puke 10-12 times a day when I'm not on my medicines. I have a home health nurse who gives me IV fluids (it runs 24/7) and I have a Zofran pump giving me 24 hour medication. I have migraine headaches, my kidneys are not working properly and I have never been so tired in my entire life. Is it February yet? Baby #2 and I are going to have a chat when s/he is born.
P.S. DH is soooooo getting a snip snip in March. Not doing this again! Two is good for me.

The only thing Ive noticed with this pg is that my skin is bad. Like gross. I dont know if thats because Im having a boy or not. Also with DD I had really bad carpal tunnel.and swollen hands but with this one Im not.
I am having an identical pregnancy. To the symptoms of 1st tri, to the rate I'm gaining weight (or lack thereof), to the position baby is in, everything is the exact same.
A little different. Didn't have the smell sensitivity, little to no nausea, not as exhausted in first tri as I was with #1. Way earlier lower back pain and more intense but docs say it's b/c my body is already stretched out/loose from #1. Also, carrying #1 up and down stairs and chasing her around doesn't help the back pain.

I wasn't sick at all with DD, with this one, I am nauseous all of the time. I even ended up in the ER yesterday from all of the vomiting. Not fun! Last time I was really constipated and this time I have constant diarrhea since 6 weeks. They are completely different!
I've had some similarities and some differences. The first half of both pregnancies were pretty similar, but the last half has been different for each so far
DD#1: I had really bad morning sickness from about 6 weeks to 20 weeks (the worst being from about 10 to 16 weeks), I carried her really high and had a lot of rib pain and some bad indigestion, never had any discharge, not a lot of boob pain, had a lot of swelling in the last trimester, had hot flashes early on. I ended up developing pre-e at the end of my pregnancy with her.
DD#2: I've had morning sickness from about 6-7 weeks on and still have it from time to time, it's not as severe as with DD#1 but it's never gone away. I'm carrying her a bit lower so instead of rib pain, I've had more pelvic pain and lower back pain. I didn't have hot flashes early on, but I'm getting them like crazy in 3rd tri. I have a TON of discharge this time around, really sore boobs, and not quite as much swelling yet compared to what it was like at this point last time. I'm a LOT more tired this time around, but I chalk a lot of that up to having a 15 month old
Oh and first signs/symptoms of both were extreme fatigue and a general loss of "strength" - like I suddenly felt much weaker than normal. I knew I was pregnant with #2 because I went from being fine picking DD#1 up to it being a big struggle just out of the blue.
