Daycare/ Nanny Service/ Babysitter in the Mandeville/Covington area

Hello:

My best friend is 5 months pregnant and has begun the search for a daycare/nanny in the abita/ mandivelle/ covington area. Do you guys have any suggestions? We know there are waiting lists so she is trying to decide this now so she can be put on the list if need be. They are also interested in the option or having a nanny come to their house as well.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

    The only two that I have information on our:  My Little Sprout and Townhouse Country Place.  They have two very different "teaching" styles for when the children get a bit older.  If it's any comfort, neither place had a waiting list when we checked (over a year ago).

    My niece goes to My Little Sprout and my sister loves it. She did say that it is on the expensive side though...
