Wedge using babies

My DS has slept in his car seat since 2 weeks to help his reflux per the Doctors orders. So now he hate sleeping flat. I can get him to nap in his crib but Night Time sleep is not happening. So does you baby still use a wedge if so which one do you have? Do you have it under the mattress or on top?

    Cheap suggestion: My dr suggested to roll up a towel and place it under the crib mattress so my LO can sleep on an incline.  But I actually have 2 wedges (HMDs from my sil)  One is a pretty steep incline and DS actually rolled off it one night and scared himself into hysterics.  The other one we use I think is actually a co-sleeper bed with walls to keep baby from rolling.  I just placed it in the crib and he seems to be doing ok on it, but it definately took some getting used to!  GL!
