Did you get it when the baby was born or not?
Why? Why not?
I am not trying to start any problems, just want a range of opinions.

Re: Hep B shot
This but DS will get it at 3 months. You could wait even longer since babies aren't likely to get Hep B, unless Mom is positive, so it really just depends on what you want to do. Find out what your pedi recommends.

This exactly. The pedi told us the only reason the schedule has changed is because of the irresponsible parents out there who don't take their kids to get vaccinated later on...and Hep B is an important vaccine in the end. I got mine in middle school...there is no reason DD needed it at birth. Birth is hard enough!
I was on the fence, but ended up getting it at the hospital and am sooo glad I did!
First, LO slept right through it. I kid you not - he was so sleepy after being born, he slept through everything - his Hep B shot, his heel sticks (he had to have a few because I had GD), all of it.
We just got home from his 2 month appointment and he had to have 2 shots today. He was so cranky after his 1 month booster shot that we opted to have both shots today. He screamed and screamed and it broke my heart. So one less shot was worth it to me to do at the hospital instead of today!!
