2+ moms

did your second (or third...) baby drop?  All my books say it's not likely for second time moms to have the baby drop until they're in labor, but goodness, I think this girl has headed south.

Re: 2+ moms

  • G was always lower than J.  I didn't notice any big difference.

  • Lila was low the entire time...
  • DD2 Ally was high the entire time (even when they induced me, it took her forever to drop).  I still felt her right under my breast up to the time that I pushed.  I believe that her head was still a -2 when I was fully dilated.

  • I carried #2 so low from the beginning as well.
  • I felt a lot of pressure down low that last month.

The day I delivered I really thought I was going to have her in the master bath, I could feel sooo much pressure.

Then on our way to the hospital I was convinced I would deliver in the car.  Once we arrived at L&D it took about 90 minutes for her to come out.

  • I'm not sure... but from the feeling/look of things here I feel like this baby is halfway out!

  • Somedays Im certain she has dropped, but I look the same. The past week Ive felt soooo much more pressure on my pelvis (and lady parts) though, so I think mine is getting ready.
