how often are you changing diapers?

ive read posts here and there about not changing dc's diapers for 8, 10 & 12 hours! i think this is crazy! i can't imagine not changing dd for that long. 7 hrs is the longest i have gone (once). bacteria starts growing after 2 hours...i just couldn't do it. just because the diaper isn't leaking? i don't know. maybe i am overly concerned with dd sitting in her own urine...?

    I am thinking those folks are talking about at night. ?DD hasn't gone much past 7 hours yet, but I certainly am not going to wake her up to change her diaper if she does.

    Rylee sleeps for 12 hours and I really won't wake her to change it.

    Every couple of hours or so during the day, but we don't change him at night unless he's poopy.

    I dont recall seeing a lot of these posts, but i agree with you!  I change dd at least every 2 hous sometimes even more.  I know at night even if she has not dirtied her diaper I like to put on a fresh one.

    I change every three hours, but if I hear a blowout, I'll change again.

    At least every two hours when she wakes up to eat during the day, unless I hear her poop, then I change her wether she's asleep or not. But at night I only change her when she wakes up to eat, which varies from every 2 to 4 hours.
