I see you are a fellow cannoli lover. I knew there was a reason why I loved you. Wink

How do you like yours, with ricotta or with cream?

I am not a huge fan of ricotta so I love all my Italian dessert with that custardy cream and lots of big?chunks?of chocolate mixed in is a must. ?

Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
DH: 31, no issues
4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

    Ahhh, another reason we are so awesome. I also love the big chunks of chocolate mixed in with the cream. Honestly I will eat a cannoli either way but the custardy cream is my favorite if I have the option to pick. I am desperatly trying to learn to make them from my husbands Nani but due to the fact I am no domestic goddess I am not having much luck!

     

    (and now I want a cannoli Stick out tongue)

    I will put in my 2 cents and say that I love the ricotta cheese filled cannoli's the best. We have a festival here in the city called the San Genaro Feast in September. It's an Italian street fair and it's the best time to get the most delicious cannolis. I cannot wait.

    Can I butt in and say I love cream cannolis with chocolate chips? Especially from tringalis (blushing have you been there)

    acutally cannolis and italian cookies with a coffee bar was the late night snack at our wedding. yum

    My mom makes them!! ?They are not easy to make at all, but then again I am no baker. ?My older sister is an awesome baker so I am counting on her to continue the tradition. This way I can continue to my tradition of watching everyone else bake and while I sit back and eat them. ?

    I now want a cannoli too... ?

    ivs, Ray and I have ALWAYS wanted to go to San Genaro, the only thing that stops him is that it's football season and he is a football phanatic (as in, setting up an extra tv in the living room with laptop in front of him so he could keep track of his 3 fantasy fb leagues)

    I have been told that I am not a true italian because I do not have a lot of love for ricotta.

    I just saw it! That is crazy. I got hit on Grand River right in front of Lamda chi (sp???) It was so embarrassing. I got somewhat hurt. I couldn't walk for a few weeks b/c my knee hurt so bad but I didn't break or tear anything. So you both got hit? Where at?

    OMG Tringalis is the best. It is in warren on schoenherr. You will have to try it when you come visit.
