3 month pictures

What did you find works best for 3 month pictures?  I was thinking a solid color shirt would be better than something with a lot of design?  Thoughts?

    Yeah, our photographer said to avoid patterns because it distracts from the face. For our 5 month pics we did a white onesie under a denim dress (which looked really great with us because me and DH wore white shirts and jeans). Then we had some of her in just her white onesie and babylegs leg warmers and the white really really looked good.

    We had photos taken at 9 wks b/c that's when the photographer we wanted was available.  The ones I liked best were the ones with just a diaper/cover on (see siggy) & the ones with DD wearing a dress with thick, bright color stripes on it.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
