  I've flown 4 times with DD and I just held her. I can see how that might be helpful with a toddler, but with an infant I would think holding would be safer/easier.

  I haven't used it.  I think a carrier would serve the same purpose ??  Maybe this is a little less restrictive?  Doesn't seem worth it to me but is a neat idea.

  Not sure if this would be like the same as a carrier, because i know you (most airlines, anyways) LO must be out of the carrier for takeoff and landing. So If this device would be allowed for Takeoff/landing, it might be safer than having them in a carrier!
