I don't know what to do

For the past 2-3 weeks, DS is waking up every 20 mins. to 2 hours. He'll need a binky, to be patted, or whatever. He has one MOTN feeding. By 3-4am, we need to take him into bed with us, where he sleeps so restlessly that I can't sleep at all. He used to sleep 7-4:30 or 5 with one MOTN feeding. I don't know why this is happening, or what to do. I think he's much too young to CIO. He is teething, but isn't fussy during the day, so I don't know if he's in pain? I'm so tired I feel sick, and I'm crying as I write this. Please help.

    Have you tried Tylenol before bed to see if that helps?

    I know you said you dont want to do it, but I would suggest letting him CIO if you have narrowed down any other reason for him not sleeping.  GL!

    The Magic Sleep Suit saved our sanity. We had a very similar problem to yours and were at our wits end. Someone on the bump recommended it to us and it has worked wonders for us. It reminds me of a snowsuit, but it's not as big. It keeps them warm and comforted during the night and helps them put themselves back to sleep if they wake. The first night we saw a little improvement but by the second night he was sleeping 7 hours straight, and now he's up to 11 hours every night with no waking. Some people knock it here but we were so desperate and it helped so much. I am anti-CIO for our family right now also. Google The Magic Sleep Suit for more info if you are interested. GL!

    Thanks for suggestions, I really appreciate it. As for Tylenol- I guess I'm a little scared to get into that on a nightly basis? I mean I definitely want to give him medicine if he needs it, but I now Tylenol you're not supposed to give more than 5 days in a row.... maybe I'll try it tongiht, though, to see how it works. And I will definitely check out the Magic Sleep suit, never heard of it!
