Wierd lump behind ear

I was getting him ready for bed I saw a lump behind Matthew's ear. It is roundish and firm to the touch. I would say it is a little bit bigger than the size of a dime. It isn't red or swollen. It wasn't there yesterday or last night to the best of my knowledge. I'm calling the pedi in the morning but was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what this could be.

    Aww, poor Matthew Sad Does it seem to be bothering him any? It could be a spider bite...Libby has two on her forehead and I have no idea when she would have got them (so probably while she was sleeping).

    He doesn't seem to be bothered by it. I touched it and he didn't seem to care. On me bites are always red so I really don't know. I hope it is nothing

    Well, that's good that he isn't bothered by it. I hope it's nothing, too. Keep me updated!

    I did finally...FINALLY Stick out tongue

    I'm having the same problem tonight....so right now I am watching Everybody Loves Raymond and drowning my sorrows in Dr. Pepper.
