Red raised bumps underarms!!!???

I am my sister's babysitting her kids for 2 more days and yesterday my 4 mo developed these 5-7 red "bites" under each arm. Then he got them on his one knee and here and there on his torso. I spoke to the doctor who said not to worry unless they get to dime-sized, and/or has a fever of 100.4 or more. She said to bath him in an oatmeal bath.

His demeanor seems to be normal and he doesn't seem to be in pain/discomfort. But gosh, what could they be?? My sister told me her dog caught fleas, but they vacuumed, frontlined and bathed the dog. Why would LO get the bites and not anyone else, unless because he has the weakest system.

 I am so distressed, but yet the doctor was very even about it. I guess being a first time mom and worrying is getting to me...I am sure he'll be fine but still!! WTF??!!!

    Babies are amazingly complex  and resilient little people. Don't stress. Follow your Pedi's instructions and keep an eye out for any changes, but seriously you have done all you can do!
