I used tums smoothies. And then when I started waking up gagging on the acid my ob told me I could take prevacid. I also had to stay slightly elevated while laying down.
Tums, Tums and more Tums!!! Invest in the jumbo bottle from Costco. I carried it around for 9 months and ate them like they were going out of style. My doctor told me to take Zantac, which I did but after a while I was on the Tums too! Mixed Berry and MInt were the best-oh and I had to give up pizza which set my heartburm off like there was no tomorrow!
Pepcid! The generic is just as good (Famotidine) and you can get both OTC. It stays in your blood stream longer to help prevent and treat. I have horrible heartburn/reflux, and pregnancy made it worse. Pepcid saved me. And congrats on your baby boy!

Really, I've heard the milk and the cold can really help. Plus...it's ICE CREAM! Ice cream cures everything.

I don't like milk so I used Ice Cream.
