why does the shiit hit the fan everytime I'm about to give birth?

With Olivia, DH broke his ankle about 6 weeks prior to Olivia.  So he was hobbling around on a boot while I'm waddling around. 

This time, our dog has gone apeshiit on us and after 12 years decided to develop separation anixety and destroy the house everytime we leave him.  we're talking playroom in shambles, garbage all over the floor, toliet paper through the house, etc. We put him in the other dog's cage and he broke it down tonight. 

and if one more person tells me that I am emitting pregnancy pheremones (sp?) which are making him crazy, I will go apeshiit myself.

    awwww!  that's stressful!   Can someone take him for a while?  have you taken him to the vet? any changes in his routine?  I know if my dog doesn't get good walks every day he's a mad dog.  

    hang in there!  hoping for no fractures. ; )

    Have you taken the dog to the vet yet? I wonder if there is something else going on that is making him act like this. But regardless of what is the matter with your dog, that stinks. I'm sorry it's happening.

    yep took him to the vet - blood work is normal.  vet just kinda shrugged.  we've tried all sorts of things - letting the crated dog out so they could play, buying new toys, not giving too much love and attention, etc.  no changes to routines.

    we are waiting on a dog collar with aromatherapy that is supposed to help it.  But if that doesn't work, he's going on Prozac.  i can't believe they prescribe it for dogs, but they do!

    the only saving grace is that I will be on ML so that will cut down on it hopefully.

    it's just our dumb luck.

    sorry Moo, that sounds so frustrating!  hang in there mama, we don't have pets so i have no advice, sounds like you have done all you can do.  baby will be here before you know it!  (((hugs)))

    UGH! that suuuucks!! Sry to hear girly!! ANythign different or changed around the house that would cause the dog to snap like that??

    DH factured his ankle (playing racquetball) like 2 wks before I had Ash so we already had a toddler to chase and I could have KILLED HIM!!!!!
