Has anyone ever tried them? They are super cheap and made in the USA so I'm considering buying some to try. At under 8 bucks a diaper are they too good to be true? Any input?
I have some sweet doll baby that I got off eBay. They were super cheap, I got 4 for like 15 bucks or something ridiculously cheap like that.
I don't really have experience with other brands of pocket diapers but I will say that they do seem cheap to me.
The snaps come undone very easily and they don't fit my ds very well in the legs... Though that could be due to him being a super wetter and having to have a super stuffed diaper. So unless we use a fleece cover over the diaper it will leak due to the poor fit on the legs.
Like i said I don't have experience with any other brands so i can't say if we'd have fit issues with other diapers or not. But we do use these every night... So theyre not horrible but I wouldn't expect super high quality or anything. (I'm too cheap to buy more pocket diapers lol)
One good thing i can say is that the pul seems like really good quality to me. It's nice and thick and not flimsy feeling at all. I want to say mine are an older version because they've discontinued the colors i have now.
For the price, I would give them a try, you may not have fit issues like i do.

I have 5 Nubunz. I love them. They are usually my go-to diapers. I have no problems with elastic or leaking. One of them is starting to separate (the pul from the outer material) but that may be my fault for machine drying too much. I tried one of the 'seconds' for $5 and it is just the same as the regulars. HTH
How big is your DS? My DD is super teeny ( 7 lbs 11 oz at 5 weeks old...) and she's skinny I wonder if her little chicken legs will be way too small if you are having leg fit issues.... Thanks for the input, I may just order one or two to try, even if they don't work I won't be out much!
MY DS is 23lbs now, and has been wearing them since about 12lbs. I would probably wait until your DD is a little bigger. But that is the deal with most 'OS' dipes, they aren't truly OS.
ds has been wearing them since he was about 7-8 months old and was around 18-20 lbs at the time... he's about average i'd say.. not super skinny but not chunky either.
like pp said, you probably won't be able to get a good fit until she gets bigger, but you could always put a fleece/wool cover on over and then leaks wouldn't be too much of an issue.

My cousin had almost an entire stash of Nubunz, and after 3 months of washing and line drying she already had 3 where the PUL separated. Their warranty was up at that point since she had bought them when she was pregnant, so she was out the money. Other than that she was happy with them. They are cheap for BG knockoffs, but IMO I would pay the little bit extra and get the BGs for the quality.
