And was really @%$#$% scared.
I went to the bathroom and noticed bright red blood. I immediately ran to call my doc.
They called me back with in 30 min. Of course I went pee about 15 times in that time span with no more blood. There is no pain when I peed(mom thought UTI as she had them with me). No super recent sex either.
She told me to stay laying down, keep my feet up and drink lots of liquids.
I'm to call Monday morning if no more symptoms. I'm to call immediately if there is. It hasn't happened since. I've had no pain or cramps of any sorts. I've been able to feel the kiddo kicking and moving around like normal so that's helping me calm down some.
They didn't say anything about work etc on Monday so I think I'll call later today to see if I'm ok to go if I haven't had any more spotting and/or any pain/cramps.
Has anyone else had something like this happen to them? Was it just a random thing? I'm almost 28 weeks

My mom said the same thing. She had one with me. Did you have a lot of blood or just one time? Still no issues today and the kiddo has been moving more than ever before.
Ditto. It was a one time fluke thing and the doctor said it could have been external. It was never explained and never happend again. Hope everything is fine with you.

This happened to me right at 28 wks with my little guy on a Friday evening. We were monitored for a bit at L&D and then had an appointment the following Monday with my OB. Everything was just fine and went to one day past my due date. There was no explanation but it never happened again. My doc did restrict my work week down to 40 hours from there forward.
I know everything can be so scary with this, but definitely call the doc again and insist they see you if you are still worried.
