So you know the post below asking for a PIP of your engagement ring? Yeah, I don't have a pic so I was going to take one. I went over to the window to get more light and I dropped my rings. Where you ask, in my candle that I've had burning for a few hours. Any ideas on getting blue wax off of my rings? The rings themselves aren't so bad, it's around the setting that's hard.

Re: Cr@p (wedding rings mentioned)
Found this....and I think I'll bookmark the website, b/c I be it'll come in handy!
Good luck!
I would say either put them in hot water like PP suggested or just go ahead and get as much off as you can and bring them to the jewerly store. They'll be able to use their stuff to get it off.
Thanks. That helped a lot. There is still some was deep under the setting, but it's a ton better.

Am I the only one who kinda giggled when they read this?
I do this kind of stuff ALL the time.
I always put votive holders in the freezer for about an hour and the wax just flakes off. Maybe use a dry toothbrush.
