Daycare options in St. Louis Park

Hi - I'm sure this has been posted many times...but I have no clue where to start.  I found a website with home daycares that are certified in our area, but would love some recommendations.  We're looking for a home day care or even a non-typical daycare center (out of a church or something).  We don't want New Horizons or the like.  Any suggestions in the St. Louis Park area?  Our baby would need daycare starting late Jan/early Feb.

 Any advice is much appreciated!!!

    We went to Kids Place which is a center located in the Central Community Center and ran by the school district.  We loved it and only left because we moved to Maple Grove.  It is expensive though.  I also heard great things about Westwood Lutheran Church on Cedar Lake Road but they had no openings when we were looking.

    I live in St. Louis Park too and found the website www.mnchildcare.org helpful. It lists all licensed day care providers in Minnesota and you can find providers based off of your criteria.  If you aren't finding what you want you can call them and they will email and send you a list of providers as well.  Hope this helps!
