Target maternity shopping=big fail

I just went to Target and looked around to see if I could find any maternity clothes. This was my first time trying on maternity pants, my anxiety has held me off from trying before this point. But I figure Im going to have to get over that. Anyway, what is the deal? I am not short at all, I'm 5'6 and the pants are so long. They look rediculous! I was looking for work pants and found nothing Crying

    If they fit fine other than the length, why not find a good tailor and get them hemmed?

    I am the same way I found that the petite pants at motherhood maternity fit in the length much better! And I also got some deals on work pants at JCPenny $30 for a pair of khaki and a pair of black pants that I will be getting hemmed.

    I got mine at Old Navy, for me Target is hit or miss.

    I found a Motherhood Maternity outlet store and got petite work pants that were the perfect length.

    I had no luck at Target or Old Navy. Motherhood Maternity has been the best bet thus far for me.

    I am 5'8 and they are long on me also.  Don't get frustrated and upset.  motherhood maternity has great pants for work, and not that expensive either.  If you don't have a store nearby you can get them online.  I love their secret belly panel.  Their stuff fits me very well and I don't have the length problem.  I don't know why I have it at target but I think it might be the shape of my body and how low I carry.  I am sorry you got frustrated!!

    I went shopping at Target today and it was a huge fail for me too!  Everything was really big on me (which is not a problem I usually have).   I got a lot of stuff from Gap with my last pg - I will hopefully be able to make time to go next weekend.

    I'm 5'5 and all the maternity pants I've tried on have been too long except the ones I got from Sears (they have petite). GL!

    I just went to Gap Maternity and had a lot of luck with pants and tops.

    I've had no luck at Target either.  Everything seems about four sizes too big!  I did find a Motherhood Maternity outlet though and got some cute things for pretty cheap.

    I'd also suggest Kohls.  They don't have a huge maternity section, but I have found a few pairs of nice pants there.  They do carry petites and they have some great sales.
