I am on progesterone and I just wonder if anyone is taking it too? Does anyone think it helps? I was spotting before my periods about a week, so they are being cautious.
I've been on twice a day Progesterone suppositories since we triggered (and after the 36 hour intercourse window).
My levels have been picture perfect this whole pregnancy, so I assume they are helping, although to my knowledge I haven't had a progesterone issue in the past.
I think the same way. Have you had an early u/s? My levels were good last week and since my hcg was above 1000, they are not checking them, just u/s and progesterone. I am just so nervous for my next u/s on wed

I've actually had two - one at 4 weeks, 6 days to make sure the pregnancy was in the ute (saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac) and one last week at 5 weeks, 5 days (saw the little "seasame seed" as the tech said and a sweet 101 bpm heartbeat.)
I go back Thursday for another look, and will hopefully be released to my OB at that time.
But I have a history of loss, esp. early loss, so these early scans are just to make sure we are still on track.
Good luck on Wed! I know it's scary, and I hope you see everything just as it should be.
I am on the suppositories as well. We don't know if progesterone was an issue that contributed to my losses, so I'm just on them as a precaution. I've had two u/s so far and baby seems to be doing very well.

I am on daily progesterone in oil shots. After the trouble I had getting here, the doctor wants to give me every shot of staying this way! I don't know if it helps, but I don't think it can hurt, so it's fine with me!
I'm on vaginal suppositories 2x/day (Prometrium) and I have been since I found out I was pregnant (3w 5d) I'm going to be on this until I'm 14 weeks and then we'll see if I still need to continue taking them.
I def. think they have helped me sustain this pregnancy so far. They make me pretty sick (nauseous, dizzy, etc) but I'll keep taking them as long as I have to if it means I can stay pregnant.
I'm doing progesterone in oil IM shots in the evenings and progesterone/estradiol suppositories before bed. I'll do both until I'm 11 weeks. I have a lot of trust in my RE, he's conservative and cautious so I don't think I would be on it unless he felt it helpful. It does seem to intensify symptoms though - not so fun but worth it. :0)

My RE figures it can't hurt.

It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
