Carson's 3rd Bday Party

okat so i can't upload everything i want to b/c it's too time consuming but here is the story.....

his party went great! it was his first "kids party" so we had 9 kids that rsvpd but 7 showed. the day went great i ran around and did what i had to do. here were the mishapp's from the day.....

i left about 10:30 to pick up the cake all dh had to do was feed him by 11:15 lunch and then put him down (early) at 12:30 - he normally goes down at 1pm for a nap

so dh calls me 30 secs from me leaving the house to tell me he tried to clip the straggler hairs on the corner of Carson's forehead from his haircut 2 a week ago. Well Carson of course moved his head and the put a big skid mark in his hair and now he looks like a bad Vanilla Ice haircut.. Whatever, nothing i can do about it. Then i proceed to almost lose all 40 balloons in Party city parking lot due to wind. that was a fiasco..........but everything else panned out fabulous! i will be rescheduling his 3 year pics that were supposed to happen next sat........again........whatever........

oh, and when i got home from running around Carson would not nap......dh tried for an hour and he put him down to early.. .. i go in and put him down within 2 mins....passed out like a rock.

what is it with men? really?

his actual bday is Monday......

I'm glad it turned out well. LOL, with Carson's hair. I thought you would of cut it all off, its funny though and when he gets older he can look back at the pictures and you can tell him why his hair looked like that. Looks like he still had a blast.

Great pictures. It looks like he had so much fun. LOL about the hair- that is something my DH would do too.

I can't believe 2 kids just didn't show up. What is wrong with parents? How do you not show up when you RSVP without calling? It sounds like it didn't bother you- good for you! It would have bugged me.

it did not really bother me. i was more disappointed for Carson but he did not know any different. oh and one of his friends that came brought their little 2 year old brother so he filled a spot, lol! i could tell (and the parents told me) that this was their first bday party they have been invited to. i think most kids his age have had just family and friends at parties. i really branched out and invited 14 kids i did not know praying to God it would go well, lol! everyone talked/played/ate and had fun so i am thrilled with the outcome!
