After pulling up/cruising about how long until walking?

DS pulls up on anything stationary & cruises along the couch/chairs etc. He also grabs our fingers & 'walks" aroudn the living room holding onto them.

My DH started walking at 8.5 months. I'm wondering if DS will follow along in his steps :P

It took my DS about a month after pulling up and cruising before he would let go and walk. We worked with him on it though, it didnt just come to him.

DS has been cruising for a month or two now and is just really starting to walk on his own. He's a really good crawler so I don't think he feels the need to walk

My little man is 11 mos today and he started pulling up/cruising just before 9 mos and still isn't letting go or walking on his own. I think he enjoys the security of holding on.

Our ped says about 3 months between crusiing and actually walking. He said then between walking and running is about 3 mins

my guy has been cruising since 7 months, and still is too scared to let go and do anything on his own. he can walk holding just one of our hands, but as soon as we let go and he is standing on his own, he sits himself down. as with most baby related things, i think it can be highly variable.

DS has been pulling up for a loooong time, probably since 6 months, and he's been cruising for months, too. No interest in walking on his own, though! He's a speedy crawler and just has no desire yet to walk.

So I think every baby is different on this one!

My DS has been pulling up for at least 3 months and cruising for around 2, but still doesn't walk. He keeps standing and looking like he's going to take a step, then plops down on his butt. I would think it varies a bit per child.

My son has been up and cruising since 6.5. He kept trying to walk on his own at that time and would fall flat on his face. Thankfully he stopped doing that. He is 9m now and still cruises. Although, he grabbed my finger last night and took three steps. My finger was only for emotional support. I wasn't supporting his body. I walk around either holding both hands or one hand often. I am hoping he'll be walking by ten months. Only to give his little knees a break.

Kaden started pulling up and cruising just after 7 months. He's 10.5 months old and still not walking. He will let go of the furniture for a few seconds and stand on his own, but has not attempted to take any steps!

DD1 started pulling up and cruising at 7 months, walking at 11 mos. So 4 months for her.

DD2 started pulling up and cruising at 8 months, walking at 9m3w...so 1.5 month for her!

It all depends on the baby
