    My parents live in the town where the pact allegedly occurred, and all the news stories after the movie happened said there was no "pact".  In fact some of the families were all up in arms and insulted that people would think that.  Blah blah blah.  Sorry, but if they had unprotected sex they're rolling the dice, pact or not.  Is birth control foolproof?  Of course not.  But that's an awful lot of "oopsies" in one year to blame on failed birth control, so with or without a pact it disgusts me...

    DH and I watched it too.  We started watching the movie that came on after it too, but when it had 30 minutes left, the cable went out.

    That movie just freaks me out.  With my step-daughter going into 5th grade I get nervous about the comming years and the choices she will be faced with.  Kids are stupid, and I just hope that the friends she surrounds herself with will all be "good girls".

     I'm with you.  My oldest niece is 14 and it seems like kids grow up faster these days.  Scary.
