convertible car seat shopping- help!

Amazon is having a sale on car seats and its about time we go to convertible.  I'm researching it and its making my head spin. Anyone have these?

Right now I'm looking at the top 3 selling seats on amazon which are :

    What kind of car do you have?  A small car?  That kinda makes a difference.

    I'd go Marathon.  I love mine, and so do both my girls.....8 months, and 4 years....

    P.S The marathon will still fit in a small car.  When we had DD#1, her Marathon fit into a 2-dr Honda Civic hatchback (rear facing)!!!!!!

    We have the Evenflow Triumph in our Ford Edge.  So far, I really like the carseat and so does DD.  The straps are easy to adjust, which is really nice for a constantly growing baby.

    We love our Marathon.  We had a Boulevard but had issues with the straps not tightening so they sent us the Marathon as a replacement (great customer service).

    I don't know if you are interested but Amazon has the new Britax models on sale also.  The ones you listed are the older models.

    If Consumer Reports ratings matter to you, the Evenflo Triumph gets the highest rating (70), followed by the Boulevard (64), and I can't remember if it was the Marsthon or the Advocate that had a shockingly low rating. We have the Boulevard and will be getting the Triumph for my mom's car. We have a Corrola and my mom has a Highlander.

    We have the new triumph and love it. It is so user friendly which is great.
