Those are the computers we had in elementary school. I loved the big floppy disks that went with them. I spent many hours playing Oregon Trail on a computer like that.
Ahh - yep I developed my first program on a computer like that when I was in elementary school. Little did I realize at the time, I would do that for a living when I grew up.

I am getting out my cane and ear trumpet. Fond memories.
Absolutely remember those. Also remember fondly my typing classes in high school. Yes, that's typing as in on an actual typewriter. Do kids today even learn how to use typewriters?

This is what I remember. Oregon Trail. I always named the people after kids I didn't like, so it would say: "Brian has died of dysentery."
Would you believe that I spelled dysentery right on the first try? I guess all those hours of Oregon Trail paid off!

This exactly! O and my grandmother had one at her house she let me play on but all she had was a word processing program...but she found ways to make it fun. We used x's to make picture (they looked like cross stitch patterns).
