bumper question

those of you using the bumpers, did you wash it before you set up the crib?

    Last time, I did but they weren't really thick so I felt confident that they would wash ok.  The ones we are using this time are thicker and I'm afraid they won't come out as well.  I plan to air them out for a while but that's all I'm going to do this time.

    I washed DD's a few times, before setting it up and since she's been born, and it's fine.

    I am a freakazoid about that stuff, so yes, I definitely washed hers. Ours is pretty thick and it washed and dryer dried perfectly fine.
