bella bands

are they worth it?  does it really smooth down unbuttoned denim?  i can't envision this working all that well- i picture a lump of folded down fabric.  oh, and one more question- what color did you get?  in the pictures i've seen online, they're all exposed marginally at the bottom- bleh.

Re: bella bands

  • I have one in black and one in nude/tan. IMO they only work if the top I'm wearing is loose. I don't think they look right if my shirt is fitted. That being said, they do certainly help keep me in regular pants when maternity pants are still too big.

  • Bella bands have saved my life!!! It keeps my pants up and I don't notice any kind of lump of fabric! Most of my shirts are longer so it just looks like the bottom of my regular undershirts. I only have white and black ones though because I don't really care for colors but I know you can get some with lace and all of that fun stuff! I would at least get one and see what you think!!
  • I think they are worth it for a while.  I only got a black one but by the time I layer a white tank under a white shirt you can't even see it.  I'm getting to the point though that leaving my jeans unbottoned is even getting a little uncomfortable.  I just wish I could where sweats to work!!

  • I got the Be-Band from Target for $15.  I bought the black and white ones.  I usually layer everyday, so if it hangs out a little on the bottom, it just looks like a tank top.  I have been using them since I got bloated and am still using it.  I love mine!!!

I also got a BeBand from Target and I love mine. They didnt have any in black so I just have white. But they are worth it to stay in your 'normal' pants

  • I have 2 be-bands from target (black and white).  It works really well with dress pants and khakis, no bumps/lumps even with a more fitted shirt.  I haven't needed it with my jean yet, so I can't say.  I usually wear tops that cover the be-band, but if it showed it would look like a tank top underneath.  For me the be-band is great for keeping me in my regular pants.
  • thanks gals! i'm going keep an eye out for the be-band a la target.

I agree with this. They work best when the top is flowy, otherwise you can see the lumps, but I love mine because like this poster maternity pants fall off me right now.

  • i love the be band from target...i still  fit into my regular jeans but my dress pants are so tight and uncomfortable so i wear my be band under flowy tops so i can have my pants unbuttoned.
