This week I've been way stressed at work, and he stayed up with me late most of the week because I couldn't sleep. He's also been turning on the charm to make sure that I know he loves me! It's all been little things but I appreciate it so much more than he knows.

My DH is still sleeping, but he gets so little sleep during the week it's the only time he has to catch up. I feel bad b/c I have to wake him soon. We're working at Octoberfest to help my friend - we do it every year and he hates it but he does it anyway. I love my man!
Well, it's all good stuff this week. He has been my rock with everything with my DD. He took a half day on Thursday and took her to the ER. He ran home and got all the stuff we needed to stay over. He stayed with me until we got a room at 1:00 AM. He came back bright and early in the AM (took another day off) and was with me all day. Then ran home and cleaned the house and came back.
He canceled his fantasy football draft for this morning b/c he knew it would be too difficult to have. He came to the hosp this AM as soon as I called him. He has just been all around 100% there for me and my DD. Makes me realize that as much as he may drive me crazy sometimes, he is a good, good man and I am so lucky to have him.

DH believes in the "schedule fairy". We have his DD three days on/three days off, and somehow, by miracle I'm sure.....the schedule always works itself out. Case in point: I was supposed to go tubing today with a group of friends, and this has been on my (color-coded!) calendar for a month. My friend called on Monday to confirm everything, and DH overheard our conversation. He proceeds to interrupt my phone conversation to say, "Wait...we have DD on Saturday, and I'm working. Sorry about that."
Don't get me wrong...I knew going into this relationship that we would have her (actually wish we had her ALL the time!) and that I would need to step up for responsibility when he had to work. BUT, I would appreciate a heads-up that the schedule has conflicts, or at least an attempt from him to find a baby-sitter or something when that happens! {VENT OVER}
BUT....he did buy me a dozen roses this week (for my birthday) and they're just beautiful!

Mine is driving me nuts this morning. We have a wedding. I am dressed up in a sun dress.. him.. Jeans. I'm like hello wedding. He's like well you didn't tell me how to dress.
DH was so sweet this week. All week he made dinner for us. I had been training for a 5k (that I had today) and I would go run after work while he prepared and made dinner. He also gave my calves a nice massage last night and was very supportive today at the race.
Good Sh*t: He got up with K this morning and bought me and extra hour of sleep, which was priceless and amazing.
Bad Sh*t: My biggest pet peeve with him is that he'll flick his daily disposable contacts in the bathroom sink instead of tossing them in the damned trash can, which ultimately clogs up the sink. Drives me batty!

He invited our niece over (his sister's daughter). And now he only wants to stay home and sleep. So guess who has to take care of her? This is the second time he did this and I told him it's gonna be the last time she comes over. Don't wanna sound like a *** but she is a handful and we already promised her we would take her to the pool and now of coarse she wants to go. I told him last time I don't mind her being here if he helps out but now he is saying that he's tired because he worked today. So what!? If you knew you would be tired because you worked then why did you invite her over??!!

DH had his SA this week. I usually prefer not to know anything about porn and DH whatsoever, but of course this was a bit different. He call me at 9:00 to ask me about our finances, and I reminded him that it was "get busy" time. He called me 4 minutes later and said, "that was fast! I picked a blonde, like you." Ummm... I think that was supposed to make me feel good... but it didn't. It certainly takes longer than 4 minutes for us (which is fine most of the time, but during FWP week, it would be awesome)

DH has been playing video games all morning.
BUT, I know he'll clean the bathrooms when it's time to clean the house later. And he made coffee before I woke up this morning.

2 days this week (in a row!) DH never took the dog out once! I know there were days when he did that for me... but it's still annoying.
