For the past week or so, the top of my bump (maybe the top 5 inches or so) has been so sore. It isn't a horrible pain, kind of like a sunburn maybe? But sometimes it is worse than that, kind of like a pulled muscle. I read a little online about it maybe from the ribcage stretching out, but then I read that it could also be a sign of low fluid or even pre-eclampsia.
Thoughts? Experiences?
Re: Tenderness on the top of the belly?
I have had the same feeling. I was told it was because my baby was running out of room and the muscles at the top of the belly were being stretched. It doesn't help that my baby is breech so her head is right there beneath my ribs and she likes to stretch (as much as she is able at this point) and her head keeps rubbing the same spot.
And then the doctors did ECV on my belly to try to turn her (sadly didn't work) and now I am not sure if tenderness is from baby or from doctors.

I have had this off and on the whole pregnancy but in the past 2 weeks it has been horrible. I figured it was just what PP said, the baby is running out of room and there is still stretching going on.
