Babies: 6 - 9 Months

When did you first give your baby Puffs?

Just curious as to when some of you started giving your babies some puffs?

Re: When did you first give your baby Puffs?

  • Liam was 6 months but he more played with them then ate them. My older girls love them and Eleanor took some in her lunch this week lol

  • I am waiting until 9 months.
  • 6 1/2 - 7mo. At first I broke them in half and I would put them on her tray anytime she was in her highchair. She did a lot of playing with them at first, but I figured it was great gross motor practice/pincher grasp. Then she moved on to mouthing them, but spitting out. Now, she eats them like a champ.

  • Right at six months. When he first tried, he did not have the chewing idea down yet. Now he LOVES them! It took a week or so for him to get it and now his pincher reflex is almost perfect!
  • Around 7 months. We went through about 3 or 4 flavors before finding one DD really likes (peach).
  • Just within the last week or so.  It took him a few trys to realize that he has to let go of the puff once it is in his mouth. Ha.

  • I started giving them a few weeks ago but he's not really into them. He usually just throws them on the floor for the dog. Doggy loves them!
  • Just this week, but she doesnt like them much. She would rather eat her cheerios.

I made it past my goal I nursed for 1 year and 6 weeks! Im so proud of myself!
  • I tried at 6 months, she gagged. I tried at 7 months, she gagged unless I broke them in half, so I didn't bother with them.  I tried a couple days ago and she is in love with them now.  She's also just starting on solids and liking it as well.

  • Just as of the past two weeks my little guy loves them and i give them to him whole now. I was trying them by breaking them up, but his gag reflex was too strong. I would give them to him every so often to see how he liked them. As the gag refelx got better he began to like them.
