"We're team.... " "We are team..." "One more for team..." Etc.

I see 20 of these a day. Just say it. If someone wants to say congrats, they will. The need to have some suspenseful post makes me not click at all in almost all cases. Unless it's someone I am familiar with.

Just try "It's a boy!" "It's a Girl"

I want to be happy for everyone, and I am... but I would be lying if I didn't say that I roll my eyes when I see the dot dot dot posts... and sometimes I just skip them.

If you look at who is posting it and you don't recognize them, don't open the post. It's that simple. You wouldn't be congratulating them anyway so what does it matter what they are having.

Err. Posts like this, trying to tell people how to post, are way more annoying than "..." posts.

I would say "Just don't open the posts if you don't like it" But then I opened this post, so obviously I don't take my own advice. In my defense, I had no idea what the title meant.

This. What's the big deal? If someone is excited about the gender of their baby, let them post it however they want. I personally really like reading about who's expecting what.

weird, but I kinda like when people post that. Even if I don't know who they are I'm still like oh... I can't wait to see what it is. lol. I just like to see if there seem to be more boys or girls.

Sometimes I wish there was a separate forum for it. But if you go into the high risk forum all you see is the same GD post written by different people. If they'd stop and read the previous one there wouldn't be a take over

Like you said, if people want to congratulate them, they will. So how is it different from ... posts???? People KNOW what they are, they KNOW what it means when people say It's a... or We're team.... They CHOOSE to open these posts and they KNOW what they are about. If people are sick of reading them, skip it, it's not too hard to do. This board is for entertainment like people always say, well us who find out what we're having, at that time what we are having is entertainment to us. Who cares what the title is, they are the same as It's a girl! It's a boy!
