"We're team.... " "We are team..." "One more for team..." Etc.
I see 20 of these a day. Just say it. If someone wants to say congrats, they will. The need to have some suspenseful post makes me not click at all in almost all cases. Unless it's someone I am familiar with.
Just try "It's a boy!" "It's a Girl"
I want to be happy for everyone, and I am... but I would be lying if I didn't say that I roll my eyes when I see the dot dot dot posts... and sometimes I just skip them.
Re: Is ... a new team?? The "Triple Dots"???
We will all take this into deep consideration, just because you said so. Thank you so much for the tip. It's truly a big help.
I do what I can.
:-)
We see sooooo many of these a day it detracts from the announcements. It's just another ... message.
If you look at who is posting it and you don't recognize them, don't open the post. It's that simple. You wouldn't be congratulating them anyway so what does it matter what they are having.
Thanks though for adding on to the "rules" of the board Queen Emjay.
Err. Posts like this, trying to tell people how to post, are way more annoying than "..." posts.
I would say "Just don't open the posts if you don't like it" But then I opened this post, so obviously I don't take my own advice. In my defense, I had no idea what the title meant.
This. What's the big deal? If someone is excited about the gender of their baby, let them post it however they want. I personally really like reading about who's expecting what.
It's a lame attempt to get attention.
"Oooh... let's keep them guessing until they click... how cleaver... mwhahahaha... "
No. It's not clever and too many do it.
This is almost as bad as the "Have you ever....?"
"I'm scared about...."
Just spit it out already.
Well,if you don't want to participate in the suspense, don't click, and don't give them Horrible AWs any attention. Problem Solved!
However, I do believe this post was also a cry for attention, and obviously I am here to Oblige :-D
I think someone posted this exact same thing when I was on 2nd tri for DS1!
Probably because it's not just me that thinks it.
Yes, there is at least one other person on the bump that agrees with you!!
Relax hon - if they want to do the triple dots, you don't have to open it! There are much more important things you should be worried about than this
