My FB IF post.....For those who wanted to read

Fraggle requested to read this (see IF Closet post below) and I thought it might help others as well. Like I said earlier, I felt like I was at a crossroads of becoming bitter that no one outside the IF community understood or making the conscious decision to educate those I could. It took me a long time to get there, and believe me, I still have my days where I'm bitter and angry at the world. But it does make me feel better knowing that I helped a few people where I could.

Also, I will DD this post in a few hours. I have a job where I'm required to keep my personal life from seeping into my professional job. Hope you ladies understand. I have also removed certain identifying details.

As much as this saddens me, and the video brought me to tears, I can 110% relate to what you and your DH are going through... and I admire the strength you have had to post this in such a public forum (both here and on FB). Please know that you're not alone, and that someday we'll all find a way to turn our "guest rooms" into "baby's rooms."

Wow thanks so much for posting this. It took a lot of courage to post this on FB. Also I had never seen that video. It is quite amazing. I myself am not ready to post my infertility on facebook but if/when I do I will certainly include the video.

Excellent! I applaud you for doing this. I am very open about our struggles with infertility but it seems not many are. I have had many friends message me on FB saying they were going through fertility tests & treatments but don't want others to know. Why the shame? I have PCOS & Endo but it's not because of something I did or didn't do. Thank you so much for doing this!

This is so well written. Beautiful, and heart-wrenching.

My DD took over two years to come along, so I remember my own pain while reading your words. I feel it again as we've been working on #2 for almost as long. I hope many people who read your words do in fact learn from them, and gain sensitivity.

Life is too short to live with shame over something we have no control over. You can do this

Amaazing and well written. I too share our infertility with many many people and yet still have not made it to the level of comfort to share on FB mainly because my H's shame with MFI and I don't know how to explain that we have trouble without somehow it coming up with the closer friends I've told in person. I'm still afraid it's be brought up online and hurt DH's feelings. But a big huge kudos to you. I watch the IF video about once a month.
