When do you plan on telling your work that you're pregnant? I was thinking of waiting until at least 2nd tri or until I'm showing but I work in a very small office and I'm afraid they're gonna be wondering since I'll be having frequent doctor's appointments.

Re: Question for working moms
I am waiting at least 12 weeks, but likely will wait until I think I am showing enough that others can tell. Either way, when I tell they will still have plenty of time to plan for my absence.

Because I am a wine consultant, and it's no big deal to see me hauling around a few cases of wine every day, I had to spill the beans to my employers and co-workers very early. So far they have all been very helpful and understanding...seeing as how I'm a glorified wine stocker now.
Though, I am about to go freelance with the consulting as soon as I find an administrative position, I will probably tell my new employer when I am into my second tri. The employment move isn't preferred, but I just can't do a 14 hour day while pregnant, nor with an infant.
I told everyone today at our back to school meeting!!!
Several people asked me what I was having, and I said, "um, a baby"!haha
I guess no one is used to people spilling the beans so early!
Well since I work at the front desk of an office I had to tell my boss and direct co-worker, they need to know why Im running to the potty so much more than normal or why Im not up here when I ran to go puke! I dont plan on telling anyone else until the 2nd trimester, which may be hard to keep quiet since I am up front and looking like poop and having ginger ale and crackers everyday can be a dead giveaway. But Im going to try!
