any may momma's here? how are you all doing? I am doing good. only one thing I need help on. Any tips to bottle train my little guy? He hates the bottle. No pacifers either. take care all
we were having issues with the bottle too. i found the regular silicone nipples to be too long and not soft enough for LO. we've had luck with the BreastFlow bottles....have a shorter nipple and they're softer silicone. i was asking similar questions yesterday though and some people said they had luck with latex nipples. perhaps you should try that. oh and also make sure the milk is warm enough...that was our real problem. )

Doing good! Have you tried different bottles/nipples? We had to try several before finding one that DD liked (Nuk). It also helps if someone else gives the bottle to start and if you leave the house. Your baby can smell you and won't take the bottle if he knows the boob is nearby.

I agree with PP's and maybe try some different bottles/nipples...we had to do the same with DS and we ended up using the NUK bottles. He looooves them-I think it's because the nipple is "wider" so it's kinda like the breast almost.
So strange to see us all over here now! Look at us with our real live babies! lol
We are doing well too, thanks for asking! I have always had to BF and supplement since day 1 in the hospital. When DD takes a bottle, we give her the wide neck Dr Brown's bottles, they seem most similar to breast and help keep air out (DD has AR so Dr Browns also help with this). We also tried Avent and she didn't seem to like them. I was annoyed with the noise the Avent's make but I know other moms like them. Not sure about other brands. I agree you should try different brands and see what your LO likes.

We're doing awesome here Loving being a mamma, we've been traveling a lot this week. Just having fun! Sorry I have no advice on the bottles - DD has taken both the pacifier and bottle since she was a week old and goes back and forth between breast and bottle no problem.
Thanks for the tips ladies. I have tried different bottles, advent playtex nurser, tommie tipee. no luck so far. I may try the nuk nipples. I am EBF since I am a stay at home mom. everybody wants him on a bottle so they can babysit. I want that too nolan want nothing to do with it. I will keep trying. take care all
Re: may momma's
were you EBF? I'm sorry, DD has been taking the bottle since day one so I don't have any issues there, good luck!
I'm doing well, thanks! I still trying to get adjusted to the "new schedule" and having a minute to eat and go on the bump is a luxury
but i love it!
Doing good. Thanks for asking. Maybe it's the type of bottle. It's probably going to be trial and error until your LO finds one acceptable.
