So sad: today's my last day of summer break

I'm a teacher and have had the summer off.  I absolutely LOVE spending every day with DD.  I have to go back next week and will miss her terribly.  I won't get to see her in the mornings, which is my favorite time, or eat breakfast with her, or lunch, or play, etc.  I have tears in my eyes just thinking of everything I'm going to miss.  I'm so sad.

    I'm a teacher too and I can totally relate. I was just thinking that it should get easier as DS gets older but it's worse! We can do so much more now and I'm so sad to leave him!

    I'm a teacher too and I went back to work on Wednesday.  I miss spending my day with DD and all the things we did together.

    I start Monday too :(  This will be my 2nd year job-sharing (part-time), which makes it a little easier - I'm home Thursdays & Fridays and every other Wednesday.  GL Teachers!

    Same here.  Last day off was today.  I taught a bit of summer school this summer, but I have had the last 3 weeks completely off.  I'm also going to miss having breakfast together. I have to leave too early on workdays.  I know it's going to be hard on DS because he is very Mama focused this summer.
